Well, we are off again. This time we have a five month marathon planned through New Mexico, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington DC, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Dakota and Saskatchewan before making out way home in late March.

Home to Great Falls, MT. A road we have travelled before. Not much here. We were fortunate enough to see a Momma Moose and her calf crossing the Red Deer River just a few miles from home. Then a brief snow shower with some wonderful lighting shortly after crossing the border by Glacier National Park.

Great Falls, MT to Casper, WY. Just a few shots of the scenery along the way.

Casper, WY to Trinidad, CO. Again, not much here. Just a dramatic sky and a drive by of the Mile High Stadium, home of the Denver Broncos. We did stop for lunch in Denver.

Trinidad, Co to Ruidoso, NM. Trinidad was a coal mining town with a rather violent history. Too much to go into here. Many of the downtown buildings were built in the 1880's. Great camera fodder.
Then on to Santa Fe, NM where there is a beautiful cathedral and more old architecture. Unfortunately the cathedral was closed. La Fonda is a hotel built in 1922, but there has been an "inn" on the site since 1608.
