Well here it is. My first attempt at a photo web site.
When you click on a map on any day it will open to a gallery/slideshow. You can play the slideshow, skip to any picture and if you click the “i” icon, there may be comments for the pictures. You can also click on the comment icon and leave your comments (please do!).

Day 1: Home to Great Falls, MT. Not much here, just a few shots along the way and a couple of one of nine waterfalls on the Missouri River in Great Falls.

Day 2: Great Falls to Buffalo, WY. Here we have a stop along the way at the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument, site of Custer's Last Stand. One of those places that people speak in whispers, if at all.

Devil's Tower rises from the prairie seemingly out of nowhere. This day they decided to have a "controlled" burn of the underbrush so we were only able to hike halfway around. Still, this is impressive! It was made famous in the 1977 movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind". Then on to the Black Hills of South Dakota and another adventure tomorrow!

A one day trip through the Black Hills of South Dakota. First a few shots around historic Deadwood, then on to the Needles Highway. Beautiful. Then a few buffalo and finally after a few tunnel with views of it, Mt. Rushmore.

Another long day across the prairie. Rapid City, SD to Sioux City, IA. On the way a quick stop at Wall Drug. A drug store in Wall, SD, basically, the middle of nowhere that attracts upwards of two million people a year (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wall_Drug). An interesting place.

Sioux City, IA to La Crosse WI. More beautiful scenery, some large old houses and out first glimpse of the Mississippi River.

La Crosse, WI to Sheridan, IL. A beautiful drive down the Mississippi River. The fall colours were wonderful.
